Please note that the water supplying by Kahramaa is one of the best drinking water available & confirming to WHO & other international standards. There is no need of any kind of desalination systems to use for this water. On top of that while installing desalination (Reverse Osmosis) plants on this water, the water will get completely de mineralized, which is NOT AT ALL suitable for portable applications.
Further, while installing RO plants on Kahramaa water, the user will lose 9 times of water as waste water as household RO plants can work up to a maximum recovery of 10%. In short, to get 1 litre of "de mineralized water" one need to waste 9 litres of good water. So do not use RO plants on Kaharamaa water to get potable water as kahramaa water itself is the best quality water suitable for potable applications.

The recommended / suggested treatment systems to use with Kahramaa water is simple filtration systems to remove any sand, silt, dust etc, which may pick by the water during storage.
